Hire procedure

  • A booking form (obtainable from the Parish Office) must be completed and returned together with your deposit of £50 which is refundable after the event if the premises have been left clean and tidy, all rubbish removed and no damage caused.

  • The premises may be viewed by appointment.  Please ring the Parish office on 020 8500 0914 to arrange.

General information

  • Wheelchair access is available for all ground floor accommodation; there is a disabled adapted toilet on the ground floor.  If you are using the main hall and kitchen only, and are likely to require this facility, please notify us when you make your booking.

  • Please acquaint yourself with the position of fire exits and the location of fire extinguishers and fire buckets.

  • There is a first aid box in the kitchen near the serving hatch.

  • For main hall use, approximately 8 large folding tables and 60 chairs are available in a store room off the hall.  IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THESE ARE RETURNED TIDILY. FAILURE TO DO THIS COULD SEE PART OF YOUR DEPOSIT WITHHELD. Other rooms have tables and chairs included.  Please contact the office to check specific requirements.

  • The kitchen has serving hatches into both the hall and George Harman Room.  The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, cooker, sinks and a microwave.

  • A quantity of plates and cutlery are available for your use.  Other equipment maybe available upon request.  This may incur a supplementary charge and/or deposit.  Please check your requirements with the Parish Office.

Cleaning and tidying

  • At the end of your hire, you are asked to leave the hall and kitchen clean and tidy and to have replaced anything you have used. This includes sweeping the hall floor and checking the toilets are left clean and tidy and taps are turned off.

  • Basic cleaning materials are to be found under the sink or in the cleaning cupboard.

  • All personal property must be removed after your event, and rubbish removed, as regrettably we have no facilities on site for disposal of rubbish. If rubbish is left on site, a proportion of your deposit will be withheld.

  • 2 Tea towels are provided in the kitchen and may be used, but should be left to dry at the end of use.  You may wish to bring your own and your own rubbish sacks

  • The heating control will be explained to you at the start of your hire.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE.

  • If you have any comments or need to report any breakages or damage there is a diary in the kitchen, or you should contact office@allsaintschigwellrow.org.uk within 24 hours.  In an emergency, please contact 07968 651502.
